Who we are

Bitronite is operated by an independent developer in Sweden. Contact: [email protected]

What data we collect

Account: email address (required for login), password hash, sessions. Invoices: the data you enter (sender, customer, line items, amounts). Crypto tax report: transactions you import, wallet addresses you save, exchange API keys (encrypted at rest). Anonymous use: nothing you enter leaves your browser unless you sign in.

Why we process it (legal basis)

Contractual necessity (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): we need this data to provide the service you signed up for. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Account deletion is available from your settings and removes all of your invoices, tax data, wallets, exchange connections, and sessions. Operational logs (errors, access logs) are retained for 7 days for security and debugging, then automatically deleted.

Subprocessors

We rely on third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, email delivery, and CDN/DNS. Each one only processes the data needed for its specific function.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data. All of these are self-service from your account settings: edit any record inline, click "Download my data" to export everything as JSON, or "Delete account" to remove all of it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority (IMY).

Cookies and analytics

We use a single first-party cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels.
